JD Hardie Youth & Community Hub
Stage One comprises the completion of all design and construction works associated with the Roof, HVAC, Internal Modifications and Multi-User Courts, as well as all supporting Civil Works for succeeding stages.
Stage Two comprises the completion of all design and construction works associated with the External Elements.
Stage Three comprises the finalisation and integrations of facilities.
Council has approved the allocation of $2,256,108 from the Town’s Strategic Reserve to fund the JD Hardie Youth and Community Hub’s (JDHYCH) multi-use courts, securing the delivery of improved sporting and recreation amenity at the facility.
Local construction company MJW Building was awarded the contract for the works, supporting local jobs and progressing the delivery of the JDHYCH Masterplan.
The total cost of Stage 2 is $7,546,233 and works will include three new multi-use courts, the installation of a shade shelter, an amphitheatre, landscaping and an accessible changing facility.
